Betfair Tennis Trading – Begu v Radwanska. Choosing entry price
There are lots of factors when deciding what price to enter the market at. Also there are rules to follow. What can happen if you don’t follow those rules?
EDIT: Having just watched this back for the first time in 2022, if I traded this today I would probably exit when Radwanska served at 4-5. She had only held once at that stage!
OK, I am still watching. The set has gone to Begu. The entries (as I say in the video) are to put me in a position where if Rad loses the set but breaks first in set 2, I am in profit. I don’t understand, when Begu is serving first in set 2, why I am not laying her at 1.55….
Ok, I forgot there was a rain delay. I did back Radwanska when the match resumed and got lucky. Obviously I can’t see the stats as I was seeing them at the time. It sounded like Begu was serving just as poorly as Radwanska. In 2022, I would have taken some profit from the first set and used that for a lay in set 2 to keep liability lower. Always learning.
