Laytown Races | How about some laying on the beach? Racing at Laytown – Ireland

Once a year in Ireland there is a unique horse racing meeting, they race on the beach.

This is the only horse racing in Europe run under rules on a beach and it’s a busy betting market too!

I did a fair bit of Betfair trading on this race over a number of years using some familiar Betfair trading strategies. But having watched it so often, I became really interested in visiting this unique racecourse and I so I went there a couple of years ago to have a look.
