What Brexit can teach us about thinking through risky situations
More trading specific videos out next week and some answers to the Q&A I put up. But in the interim, I can’t help but mention Brexit and Teresa May herself.
I and I am sure many in the UK have been watching the Brexit debate. But while observing the debate, it just struck me that there is resonance with trading.
I wouldn’t recommend going all in on a trade except in exceptional circumstances, it’s probably a mixture of the two.
But the vote was in or out.and politicians will position Brexit as bad or good. But like trading, there is probably a graduation of available outcomes. But you won’t see any politician saying that.
The essence is that you rarely get a definitive outcome, but that’s exactly how trading works. So this also explains why people find it so hard.
I don’t think politicians would make good traders.
