When I traded live on Bet Angel for Betfair at investment shows
This time of year always holds fond memories for me.
The champions meeting in late October and then the Hennessy Gold Cup make for good trading markets but they also remind me of when I went on the road with Betfair to the financial trading community.
Back in 2006/7 we attended a number of exhibitions together to tell the financial trading world all about these exciting new markets.
We talked about Betfair, Bet Angel, sports trading and the general concepts around trading sports. Despite some initial resistance, we eventually found a support level and a way to get the message out.
It was fun!
